Oh, you can't tell by my appearance, I carry no crown on my head; No royal robes on my person for functions which I would dread. In truth, I'm really a servant, a person of lowly esteem, But through my Mediator, I'm more than what I might seem. His love has made me His servant, a title - the child of a King; Through Jesus I'm heir to salvation, through Christ I can do anything.

He walks by my side every day. One day I'll be walking in glory with saints who have gone on before, Till then I'll go where He sends me, at home or some foreign shore. My calling from God is, "Be faithful;" my mission in life to be true, And God will someday reward me for things He's assigned me to do.

Poems about Faith

God does not judge you according to the talents of others. He judges you according to yours. His yardstick for measuring faithfulness is how faithful you are with your own gifts. It's by your example of worship and prayer In his dark hours you show you still care. When words that hurt deeply are cast in your face, The God, whom you love, he'll no longer embrace; His very existence is questioneddenied; The truths that you taught him are all cast aside; The constant allurement which entices his soul, Have caused him to doubt and let Satan control.

Remember the words God spoke to your heart, "He may walk away but I never depart. This valley of tears that you walk in today Is not of despair! God hears your pray. His arm is not shortenedHis will will be done; God sees the depth of your love for your son. Cling to your faith, hold fast to the Light; Give God the reigns that your fears may take flight. There's little now that brings me peace, there's so much discontent; And all my efforts seem in vain, as if my years were spent.

I had great plans, my hopes were high, my zeal it knew no bounds; I had the will, the fortitude, as if on holy grounds. Excitement filled my very being, my heart filled to the brim.Inspirational Words of Wisdom. Christian Poems A collection of Christian poems to encourage and inspire. Uplifting verses that to strengthen your faith.

Rejected by religious men, not honoured by His creatures, Yet meekly Jesus carried on, the greatest of all teachers! He had no home to call His own, though He owns earth and heaven, He willingly set all aside to do His Father's bidding.

Who but the holiest, purest God has patience so unending? And gives unto the weakest one a love so condescending? Who constantly forgives the sins we daily bring before Him? Who holds us in His loving arms, how could we not adore Him? He, who knows our weakest frame, when led into temptation, Will draw us from the path of sin to songs of exultation.

Poems – Christian Poetry

To comprehend a love so deep, we have no understanding; Our finite mind could never grasp a virtue so demanding. That's why it took a Holy God, the God of all creation, To bear the burden of the sin that runs through every nation. Try as we might, we'll always stray, we're easily persuaded, The way of righteousness, it seems, is far too heavily shaded.

With sin and its attractiveness, the path is so entreating. The revelation of its pain, is slight, almost receding. But sin demands a certain toll, a payment is required, The bright lights only last so long, they're fake, they're not inspired. The colour of eternal grace, the truth that shines forever, Cannot be dimmed by earthly vice, nor through some man's endeavor. When Christ proclaimed this plan of love, His blood flowed to achieve it; He gave it freely from His heart, we need but to believe it.

The price is paid; the race is won; the victory to be savoured! Christ has defeated all His foes, His way is to be favoured. Pharisees, Scribes, disciples as well, watched as the hours rolled by; Heard as the words flowed from His lips, forgiving those that stood nigh. How could He speak, enduring such pain, when no one had come to His aid?

Only our God, in control of all things, could announce that sin had been paid. Was this a farce, or were these words true? Did God really die that dark day? Was love so great that He would give all in order to open the way? Man had actually fallen so low that life was but grief and despair; No earthly being could alter the course, in truth, there was no one to care.

Then God, in His mercy, held out His hand, and gave us the Giver of life.Read or submit Christian Poetry Many poems in this page of spiritual poetry are written by Christians. You can also click through for a page of poems which specifically use Christian metaphor or Bible references.
